Pilates Mat and Reformer Training

Pilates dramaticly transforms the way your body looks, feels, and performs.  It builds strength without excess bulk, creating a sleek toned body with slender thighs and a flat abdomen.  Pilates teaches body awareness, good posture, and easy graceful movement.  It improves core strength, flexibility, and agility.

Professional dancers have used Pilates for decades.  Top athletes use it for strength, flexibility, and injury prevention.  Celebrities and super models use it to maintain beautiful physiques.

Martial Arts Instruction

Oriental Martial Arts mirror many of the beliefs and customs of the Orient. More than merely combat techniques, most Martial Arts offer their practitioners a way of life based on Eastern philosophy. The expression "martial arts" refers to the numerous styles of combat originating in the Orient.

The style taught at Triad Fitness Center is called Koro Ken Karatedo. Koro Ken means mind/fist empty hand way. It is an eclectic style which incorporates Karate in its most pristine form.

Sensei Jon Bottomms has been involved in the Martial Arts and fitness fields for nearly 25 years and currently holds a Yondan (4th degree black belt) ranking in the art of Koro Ken Karatedo.
